Cassidy Ryan Photography is a photography collection shot and
developed at Elmira College by student photographer Cassidy Ryan.
Featuring a combination of digital and film photography, as well as
cyanotypes and editing from Photoshop, Cassidy's work is a unique
expression of creativity and technical skill. Cassidy worked with cyanotypes, film and digital photography, and photoshop editing to create three galleries of work. She strongly connected with artist Henri Cartier-Bresson and his ideology of the decisive moment. Cassidy aimed to emulate the way he captured people and places in a moment in time.

Inspiration
Cassidy's goal as a photographer is to capture the moments that often go unnoticed in our daily lives. Drawing inspiration from the masters, like Henri Cartier-Bresson, she strives to create images that tell a story and evoke emotion. This collection of works is a testament to that goal and a showcase of some of Cassidy's favorite photographs she has taken over the past few months.
